NCAA Championships Commemorative Program Now Available
The 2020 NCAA Division I Championships unfortunately did not take place March 19-21 in Minneapolis, Minn., at U.S. Bank Stadium as planned with the NCAA needing to cancel all winter Championships because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, as fans you can still purchase the Official NCAA Program that would have been sold in the arena to commemorate the event that was to take place and to “Salute” the 330 NCAA Qualifiers — the best of the best in the collegiate ranks for the 2019-2020 season.
A limited amount of Printed Programs are available while supplies last, and the pre-order has started now. Programs are $5 and ALL PROFITS are donated back to the new non-profit group Wrestling Takes Down Drugs.
The 92-page perfect-bound Program contains all the normal information fans would want to follow the Championships, with a re-designed cover saluting the Qualifiers and a lead feature about the Championships being cancelled.
The Program includes color photos of all 330 student-athletes, hometowns and information on each athlete, a complete match-by-match score update on how the top-10 wrestlers did vs. other top-10 wrestlers through-out the season, and a preview on each weight class. There’s also a feature on the team-race picture, a number of pages of historical background information and stats on the NCAA Championships as a tournament, and a feature about the number of “outside-the-box” events wrestling has turned to help the sport grow, like the 2020 Championships which were going to in an NFL football stadium for the first time, shattering the previous attendance record.
Commemorate the lost opportunity of these collegians by ordering yours in print today and the view the Program free digitally below.
